(Somalistandard) – Professional wrestling fans were left stunned after Roman Reigns managed to retain his championship title in a sensational bout against Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania.
Despite the odds being stacked against Rhodes from the beginning, he put up a valiant fight and appeared to be on the cusp of victory at several points during the match.
Reigns had brought along Solo Sikoa to ringside, who repeatedly got involved in the action until he was eventually thrown out by the referee. The Usos also entered the fray, but Rhodes managed to even the odds with the help of Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn.
However, it was Sikoa who would ultimately make the difference, sneaking back into the ring just as Rhodes looked set to seal the deal. A Samoan spike gave Reigns the opening he needed to land a spear and secure the win.
Despite the disappointment for Rhodes and his supporters, the night was still packed with thrilling action and some all-time classic bouts. Fans were particularly impressed by the performance of Omos, who looked like an immovable object throughout his match, but ultimately fell to the skills of Brock Lesnar.
Omos dominated the early stages of the match, landing multiple bodyslams on Lesnar and showing the same kind of brutal strength that has made Lesnar a fan favorite. However, in the end, it was Lesnar who emerged victorious, much to the delight of the crowd.
Overall, it was a night of high drama and memorable moments, with the WWE once again proving why it remains one of the most popular forms of entertainment in the world.
