(Somalistandard) – The incident between Mane and Sane has caused a stir within Bayern Munich, with the club taking  swift action in suspending the Senegalese forward.

Mane, who joined Bayern from Liverpool for £35 million last summer and earns £250,000-a-week,  was allowed to take part in the morning training session at Sabener Strasse on Thursday, but has  now been temporarily suspended from the squad.

The altercation between Mane and Sane occurred during Bayern’s Champions League loss to  Manchester City earlier this week.

Mane was only used as a late substitute in the 83rd minute, and an on-field disagreement with Sane  escalated into a heated exchange in the dressing room after the match. Mane reportedly punched  Sane in the face during the altercation.

In response to the incident, Bayern Munich released a statement saying, “Sadio Mane, 31, will not  be included in the FC Bayern squad for this Saturday’s home match against 1899 Hoffenheim. This is  due to his misconduct after Bayern’s Champions League match at Manchester City. Mané will also be  given a fine.”

The suspension of Mane comes as a blow to Bayern Munich, as he has been an integral part of their  attacking lineup since joining the club. Mane has scored 12 goals and provided 7 assists in 32  appearances for Bayern this season, helping them to maintain their position at the top of the  Bundesliga table.

The club has not provided any further details about the length of Mane’s suspension or the amount  of the fine he will receive. However, it is clear that Bayern Munich is taking a strong stance against  the misconduct of their players and will not tolerate any behavior that undermines the team’s values  and reputation.

Mane’s suspension also raises questions about his future at Bayern Munich, as this is not the first  time he has been involved in a controversy since joining the club. Earlier this season, he was fined  for breaking team rules by attending a party during a COVID-19 lockdown, and there have been  reports of disagreements with teammates and coaching staff. It remains to be seen how this latest  incident will impact his standing within the club and whether there will be any long-term  repercussions.

In the meantime, Bayern Munich will have to make do without Mane as they prepare for their  upcoming match against 1899 Hoffenheim without one of their key attacking players. The club will  be hoping that Mane learns from this incident and returns to the team with a renewed focus and  commitment to the club’s values.
